Packing mah bags
Jul. 2nd, 2009 07:18 pmFinally admitted to myself I should probs get off my arse and start doing my bags... given the day after tomorrow I *leave* and all that. It's very hard, trying to cram all of my stuff into so little space, especially because I didn't realise I *had* so much stuff! I don't even want to have a lot of stuff! It just happened!
I've got my suitcase down to about 18 kgs, with another 8ish in by hand luggage. Miracle, right! I think deciding to leave a lot of the books behind helped with that. Also a lot of clothes. I'm not sure what I will wear in NZ, given I have one (1) pair of jeans, two (2) light hoodies and no (0) heavy ones. Argh. But on the other hand, sacrificing my warm hoodie means bringing my history text book.
... I have the feeling not a lot of other people would make that choice.
And Andrea just stuck up a nice picture of us from when I was in Perugia, so here you are:
